The Parish Council has been receiving many complaints regarding HGV lorries taking short cuts through the village via Hall Lane, Oaks Road, Beech Avenue. There is a specific monitoring form to report these to Derbyshire County Council Trading Standards. Please complete this form with as much detail as possible and then hopefully some action can be taken.

Derbyshire County Council have informed us of a temporary road closure on 8th and 15th January 2017 to facilitate annual level crossing tests. Findern Lane will be closed at the level crossing on the 8th January and Etwall Road will be closed on 15th January.

Derbyshire County Council have notified the Parish Council of a temporary road closure on Findern Lane, Willington between 2100hrs and 0730hrs starting 20th June to 24th June 2016. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished which might be earlier than advertised.
Reason: to facilitate level crossing upgrade works.
