Derbyshire County Council have allocated an extra £50,000 to groups in Derbyshire which are supporting local communities during the coronavirus pandemic.
They are making the money available to local community groups via the Public Health COVID-19 fund which was set up in June 2020.

Derbyshire County Council are consulting on the County's Library service and this affects Etwall. The attached document details their plans for the library to be managed by the community. Thousands of cards which entitle older people and those with certain disabilities to free off-peak local bus travel are due to expire in the next few months.
Derbyshire Gold Card holders are being urged to check the validity dates on their cards, which can also be used to get discounts at some 700 shops and businesses and to borrow items from any county library.
