Candidate Sam Watters for Willington Parish Councillor
The fourth candidate for Willington Parish Councillor, Sam Watters:
My name is Sam Watters and I am standing for election as a parish councillor in the upcoming election.
I live in Willington with my wife, two daughters and our pet cockapoo called Lucky. My wife and I have lived in the village for 20 years now. She works for Rolls-Royce and I work for Network Rail in Derby. Our children attend the local primary and secondary schools. In raising a family here, you become much more aware of the good points, and Willington has many, but also of the not so good.
I care passionately about helping to continue to improve our village and to make Willington a better, safer village for everyone to live in. I have been regularly attending our Parish Council meetings for over a year now. I also attend our local safer neighbourhood meetings with the police and district and county councils.
I set up a neighbourhood watch scheme in the street where I live and act as its coordinator. I am also secretary for our local residents' association.
I hope you will agree from reading my credentials that I would be a suitable candidate for your vote in our upcoming Parish Council elections.
