Please come along and help the Parish Council plant and tidy up the Station Garden this Sunday the 29th. Everyone is meeting between 9.30am and 10am at the garden. If you have any garden tools you are happy to bring then please do so. The proposed plan of action is attached and the flowers / plants have already been purchased.

Derbyshire County Council are consulting on the County's Library service and this affects Etwall. The attached document details their plans for the library to be managed by the community. Willington Old School, on Castleway is holding it's AGM on Monday 26th March at 7.30pm and really really needs some more committee members. They would love anyone from the village to come along and support them (need to be over 18) as some of the members have been doing the role for over 18years and need to retire. Have you walked any of these routes across the gravel pits to the nature reserve, the green railway bridge or simply down kingfisher lane to one of the other paths shown on the map in the last 20 years or more?

The Parish Council would like to ask the residents of Willington what they think of the new proposed Welcome Signs into the village. There are 2 designs but 3 wordings.
