Proposed car parking charges at the Picnic Site car park, The Green in Willington.  DCC intend to impose charges at this car park.  If you wish to object please email your objections to Chris Jackson, Cabinet Minister for Environmental Services at chris.jackson@derbyshire.gov.uk

Train Services on Track at Willington

CrossCountry Trains has improved travel between Nottingham, Derby, Burton and Birmingham by introducing two extra trains in each direction which will call at the village’s station.

Willington C Power Station Gas Pipeline

At the end of 2009, RWE npower submitted a consent application to the Government’s
Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC) for a new gas-fired power station at
Willington. If built, the new station would be powered by natural gas and a new pipeline
would be required to transport gas to the new power station.
We are currently investigating possible routes for a new gas pipeline and we would like to
invite you to our upcoming public exhibitions which are an opportunity for you to find out
more about our initial proposals and provide your feedback

The events will take place on:
Monday 12th July 2010 Rangemore Club,

There has been an increase in the number of non dwelling break-in's i.e. sheds, out buildings. Please ensure all sheds etc are fully locked and where possible security lighting is used.
