Derbyshire County Council are conducting a Broadband Survey designed to give everyone living and working in Derbyshire a chance to share their internet experience.
Across Derbyshire there are people who can not receive a broadband service or if they can the service is patchy.
In order to help us identify where the telecommunications provision is weakest, we are undertaking two important surveys to gauge local demand and clarify where internet services are currently slow or even unacceptable.
It is important that we for hear from both residents and businesses, we would appreciate you spending five minutes to complete either the survey.
www.derbyshire.gov.uk/broadbandsurvey
If you operate a business and live in Derbyshire please complete both surveys as your views in both areas are valued.
Information gathered will be collated to help assess the extent of the problem across the county and to show the aggregated demand for broadband provision in any particular area. This will assist in planning for the future roll out of broadband in Derbyshire.
For anyone who has no internet access they can get involved by calling Derbyshire on 08456 058 058. This survey work will help evidence the problem for the county but more importantly it is an opportunity to stimulate demand for better provision in the future. Derbyshire County Council would appreciate if these surveys can be promoted within your organisation and partners. If you have any specific comments that are not covered by the surveys please email broadband@derbyshire.gov.uk

We are very fortunate to have two well equipped play areas in Trent Avenue and Hall Lane for the benefit of the children. Vandalism to this play equipment is a costly nuisance and an on-going problem.
If you witness any acts of vandalism please telephone Derbyshire Constabulary immediately on 0345 123 33 33 with details of the location, damage caused, a description of the suspect/offender – including clothing being worn, and the direction they were last seen heading in.
Thankyou
