There has been an increase in the number of non dwelling break-in's i.e. sheds, out buildings. Please ensure all sheds etc are fully locked and where possible security lighting is used.

Reporting Road Issues in Derbyshire

Derbyshire County Council are urging people to report problems on Derbyshire roads.  If its a pothole, faulty street light or blocked gully, report it and they'll sort it.

Willington Parish Council has lauched it own website which will be updated regularly with news, meeting notes and other general information
Canal Bridge Reopens
Canal Bridge reopens following road improvements associated with the Mercia Marina development. Also, the closure incorporated improvements to the lay-by parking for the cemetery requested by the Parish Council.
Twyford Rd Recycling Facility
Willington Parish Council have requested South Derbyshire District Council improve their recycling facility on Twyford Road Playing Field. Parishioners should report any litter or when the bins are full to the 'Clean Team' on 0800 587 2349
New Equipment for Childrens Play Areas
New play equipment on the Trent Avenue and Hall Lane Play Areas should be installed in time for the school summer holidays!

Parishioners are encouraged to report illegal parking to the Police on 0845 123 33 33
